- Discworld: The Last Hero

There are 3 different versions of The Last Hero. One 'normal' hardback version with dustcover showing on the front Cohen The Barbarian and on the back Leonard Of Quirm painting The Turtle (also used as background on page 121 hardback-edition). A second hardback version referred to as 'Deluxe Edition' was taken from the same initial print run but got fitted with a different binding. The cover is plain cloth with silver embossed picture of Cohen, the backside is without illustration. This edition had an initial number of 5000 pieces, but is not (as opposed to misleading claims) a 'limited edition', as reprints might and will happen as deemed adequate. The German hardback edition again fiddled with the cover, as now it features a painting of The Turtle also visible in the book but lacks the painting of Cohen. The more interesting changes happened when the paperback edition was published. The cover was changed for a picture of Rincewind Screaming (small detail out of a larger and more enlightening but sadly not reproduced painting, the same detail visible on pages 126/127), the backside lacks the beautiful image of Leonard Of Quirm but only shows some text and sketches also visible inside the book. Furthermore 16 pages (8 double-pages) of artwork have been incorporated that weren't in the hardback editions, or only used as background art.

The following table shows the added 16 pages of the paperback edition. The middle part of the double-pages is missing due to lack of dedication to rip the book apart.
